What an interesting newsletter, a Safety Net for the World is a wonderful idea and something to think about long and hard. I’ve also pointed friends who live in the Wirral towards your next exhibition. I had a wry smile at your remarks about making work that might sell vs a need for creative expression and making large pieces of ‘niche’ work. I was recently amazed to sell a large, 3 dimensional, mixed media textile hanging which I made quite some time ago because I had to - as in - needed to. I quite honestly never expected it to sell and was even considering re making it into something less grand once I got it back from the exhibition. So there’s always the right person at the right time - as in my case - or I’m sure in yours - a person, company or gallery with interests in your field of beautiful, thoughtful work.

Thank you Liza, I'm sure many will understand the difficulty in balancing the drivers for making new work.
