I’ve just arrived in rural southern France to teach later in the week. I came a bit early, partly to allow for settling in before teaching, but also to avoid potential travel disruption due to strikes. It has given me an extra day in this quiet place, to catch up on a few bits of admin, writing and to start exploring.
